Elusive Love...

E
mbracing the pleasurable memories,
Longing for the adore,
Undergoing the droop,
Shielding the afflictions,
Ignorance of intrigue,
Vanity to beat,
Elusive soul of mine, is within me...

Evading Contemplations,
Lamenting to moan,
Unclear vague of thoughts,
Subtle intricacy of yours,
Intangible with held ,
Void smirk to show,
Elusive soul of you, though speaks them all..!!!

PS: This piece of mine depicting kind of lost love, has been written for OSI prompt of the week-Elusive..!!!
Also, linking it to AO.
PPS:A sincere thanks here goes to Leo for his great insisting to take this prompt and ofcourse KP uncle for your kind suggestions..thanks ya..!!!

Once again, and I can't say it enough, love can very elusive, but there are times when this is preferred, keep one on their toes, so to speak. I enjoyed this, glad you posted it.

Interesting word choices! I like acrostics because they make us think of words we might not normally use.

Mads, this is a very nice acrostic. I do believe that for a fee I could connect your longing poet with other love lost seeking elusive poets.

It's been awhile since I've seen a good acrostic! My favorite line - Longing for the adore. I love that line. It is so true for the majority of us, to experience it as the giver, and also as the receiver!
