Wholehearted Tribute to Acharya Shri Mahapragya ji 🙏🙏🙌

With approaching  100th post here, and celebrating 100 years Birth Centenary of great Acharya Shri Mahapragya ji - can not have more beautiful coincidence and more beautiful reason to pay tribute to the great man, great saint of this century.

Acharya Shri Mahapragya ji was the tenth Guru of Jain Shwetambar Terapanth Sangh, born in a small village Tamkor in Rajasthan, inspired by the religious inclination and spirituality of his mother, decided to enter monk hood at the early age of ten. And from there onward started his journey of  enlightenment. He was fortunate to receive the guidance of Acharya Shri Tulsi which led to acceleration of his intellectual development.

His life was a great inspiration in every sense. One of the mantra of Mahapragya ji was 'Walk, Acquire, and Give' - also quoted by our former president Late Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam, who was also influenced by him. Walk signifying travel continuously, Acquire is to gain the knowledge and Give symbolizing giving and contributing whatever you can to the society. He was the greatest preacher of Ahimsa and throughout his life encouraged people to follow the path of Ahimsa. He was a firm believer that the root cause for all the problems prevailing in the world such as crime, poverty, pollution, war, etc. is brutal and violent thinking. The spark of  Ahimsa ignited by him speeded across the nation. Per him, Non Violence and Ahimsa would lead to world peace, all harmony, mental health therapy, and morals and can turn out to be life changer. Currently where the world is terrorized by the pandemic Coronavirus, Mahapragya ji had spoken about this in one of his speeches 50 years ago that if there will be so much of violence in the world, then the war will not happen through arms instead it will be from virus.

Acharya Shri came up with the solution of Ahimsa Yatra, and covered thousands of Kilometres journey on foot to advance the principle of Non Violence and Ahimsa.
His aura and persona was that of a great scholar but he never got a chance of attaining any formal education. He laid the foundation of courses like 'Science of Living'  which aimed at improved efficiency in studies and better  concentration and stress management. Also, Mahapragya ji was a proficient writer and has authored close to 300 books. His work dealt with meditation, spirituality, human psyche, Yog and Sadhna, Mantrasadhna, and much more. Also he had strong command on subjects like philosophy, economics, politics and that too has written with equal depth and power in these subjects as well. His vision could be seen by his work. He has also co-authored one book with former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam named as 'The Family and the Nation'. Mahapragya ji extensively believed in Preksha meditation, same can be read in many of his books, he firmly practiced meditation along with its different techniques.

Birth and Death are very normal, not in our control but what is vital is life. Life full of influence, service, sacrifice and meditation. And that is how Mahapragya ji's life was. All his teachings are still alive among us. Heartfelt homage to such Mahapurush Acharya Shri Mahapragya ji.

Amidst all the tensions prevailing due to Indo China attack resulting into violence everywhere, the silent and balanced approach chosen by our PM to speak for the great saint Acharya Shri Mahapragya ji who showed and preached the path of Ahimsa and Non violence - is worth a praise and deserves a big salute.

Had an urge to post something..and after turning on the thinking cap for some time, thought of putting up few lines that I had penned sometime back for my Great Grand Father - who has been a true source of inspiration for our entire clan. Though he may not be present among us, but he is the one power that has tied his generations with an intense bond.
Though these are very generic lines but these words are so true that they make me proud - proud to be part of his generation, offers a great learning and motivates me till depth whenever I listen about his stories -be it his business vision or his personal accomplishments.
Had written these lines for the website that is being designed to depict the business goals and lists all the trading firms that are being operated by his multi generation family as of today spread across different parts of the nation.

Shri Pem Chand Ji Baid – an iconic figure from the history of Baid Genealogy, a man with eminent characteristics, conferred with enormous sanity and intelligence.

He was the man bestowed with immense wisdom and intellect. Countless incidents we have heard of, where he exhibited super heroic strength during the times of struggle, always standing as a backbone for family.

Always showcasing patience, he had a very composed personality. All his success stories till date imbibes into the growing minds of his fourth generation of kids, implanting a spark of inspiration. Showering love and affection in abundance was one of his distinct qualities that would be adored by generations.

A flourishing empire enriched with values of harmony and peace is something he always envisioned of. He was the one who valued other members opinion before taking any business decision, and thus gave every one an equal in depth opportunity to think independently. His philosophy and intelligence reflected through the strong business sense he carried. As an outcome we can see that it’s all due to the great learning from him which has let his generations uplift the pillars of success thriving in this world with a weave of skills and competency.

To us, he truly is the man behind the growth of ‘Baid Lineage’. He indeed was a person with silver in his hair and gold in his heart.

Risking---Mantra of Life!

Amidst the peaks and valleys,
Browsing through highs and lows of Life
craving for that very strike of success
the path is not as evident as it shows
duality it offers to chose
Risk is in which optimism you should owe
Fear never Ventures any
Learn to play with adventures
Feat and Defeat  should not be the reason to aback
for each has a substantial dominance
never reckoning to aftermath of regret and bruise
evolving with the tower of learning
in the end, you'll be the one
upholding the beacon of triumph..!

Candle..Living to Burn..!!!

A Burning Candle, I saw,
flickering the aura with its glow.
rekindling the light of radiance,
blazing in the dark with Castles in air.
Melting,it was into cries of wax,
endless tears to with held.
Burning,into flames of blue and red,
daringly fighting till last breathe to reach.
Facing all twists and turns,
With a gust of air,gets blown,
and then never known.
Living the life of immolation,
Sacrificing without any expectation..!!!

Yes, this is the life of a candle.What does it signify??Burning into heaps of ashes,& into hot flames,shedding down the tears of wax.a life full of struggles,a life of sacrifice, and a life for others..
Shouldn't our lives be inspired from it??Living for others, always as a helping hand,illuminating everyone's hearts with joys to share,walk ahead with struggles to fight,sacrificing at any moment.Yes,self sacrifice is considered to be one of the virtues,out of which every virtue grows. It's the finest deed.Only,when we learn to give something,we'll able to know it's importance.and,the Candle,once if it is blown off, has no value,similarly, we should keep on leading our lives,without fearing the hardships to come, and bravely fighting,being a ray of hope for all, and sacrificing ourselves wherever needed...

Crimson Incandescence,
Ablazing the Darkness,
Naive soul,it is,
Draped in tears of wax,for
Lucent rays of hope,amidst
Endurance and hassles..!!!

Chess..A Game of Life..!!!

Grid of squares,White and Black ,

whooping in the Battle field to attack..

Waiting in the Combat Zone are Rooks and Bishops,

They stand upright,

Warrior, thou strong,

Crossing and Moving Ahead,

Fearing no one around...

Facing the King and Queen are standing Knights,

Big and Powerful,

Undefeated,they stand out from the rest,

Jumping and Checking,Just keep fighting...

Preceding them all are Pawns,

Willing for Reincarnation,

Always,they bow to bleed,

Striving to win by power,

Neglected,thou size...

Game of Life, it's a Game to survive,

Game of obsession, to play with passion.

Boggling mind, and Challenges sublime,

Killing moves, defending the self,

Trapping the opponent's king,

A Secret to Reveal (Part - I)

Today, I'm here to share a Secret with u all..
Have u ever wondered that among all the scholars,scientists and great sages, what's the thing common with them..? A Secret is there..
A Secret, which has been revealed from our centuries old culture and philosophies, and believe me,once u happen to experience it,u'll find it life transforming-this is being assured by the lady behind it-'Rhonda Byrne'. It's incredible. She talks about the Secret of being what u wish to be, and achieving what u desire for. It's the Secret to happiness, health, relationship, and all. It's the Secret of Life. The lady says that-

My dear friends, as preached by many great thinkers 'Secret is the law of attraction'. It's what u think,whatever u feel ,is reflected back to u.Here, the like attracts like.So, your thoughts play a major role in your life. It's said that -

Now, you'll feel like how to have control over thoughts, how to stop the negativity flowing in.Can u imagine monitoring your mind,full of hefty thoughts. Beginning of the Dawn..:)

Frosty breeze with misty blows,
chirping birds causing echoes.
melting dew into crystal of bay,
blossoming petals in garden of hay.
fading moon with twilight,
rising sun with glimpse of rays bright.
hovering over is purple haze,
welcoming the dawn,which has beauty to amaze,
magnifying joy with a new message -

Nayi Dishayen,nayi umangein,naya sawera,
har pal hai kuch kah raha,
Jaago Jaago ho raha hai sawera...:)

Khamat Khaamna..Michhami Dukkaddam..Aka Sorry Day..!!!

Today is Khamat Khaamna Divas(Kshama Yaachna Divas), being observed by us Jainis..This day comes once every year in Paryushan Parva which in turn lays stress on self purification nd sacrificing,even sacrificing hunger..Paryushan is followed by chanting hymns,meditating nd living a disciplined life..Now, coming back to this Khamat Khaamna Divas..Basically, it's a day to apologize to your near nd dear ones, friends nd family members for all the wrongs done to them, knowingly or unknowingly, thus emphasizing on the art of seeking forgiveness nd forgiving as well..It's followed by phonecalls, messages nd all and terms such as Khamat Khaamna, Michhami Dukkadam are exchanged.In short, it carries with it a huge importance just like we celebrate all other days like Father's Day,Mother's Day,Friendship Day, etc..etc..

So, My Dear Friends, nd all those whom I've ever come across in my life in some way or the other,Knowingly, or Unknowingly if I've ever hurt you through any action or any deed,I heartly beg for your forgiveness.Michhami Dukkaddam..!!!

Lastly I would like to share one message here, sent to me by one of my cousins..here it goes..

Chota sa Sansaar, Galtiyan apaar,
aapke paas hai Kshama ka Adhikaar,
karlijiye nivedan sweekar,khamte hain barambaar..

Just move on...

I don't know how it came, but the words started pouring and it turned into another composition of mine..specially, dedicated to all those who are facing struggle in life, to all those diminishing faces.just giving dem a message that "its when things seem worse,its then that u must not quit".
So, Just move on...

When life starts playing a game,
When u're miles away from your aim.

When things become complex,
When u ought to be hopeless.

When life seems like a hell,
When nothing goes well.

When the chosen path is full of twists and turns,
When failure is the only thing left to earn.

When nothing occurs as per expectation,
When worries+fear=life becomes the equation.

When there are no friends beside,
When darkness surrounds u from every side.

When u want to smile but u have to sigh,
When the situation makes u cry.

Whatever u do, but not quit.
Dare, u give up.
Dare, u turn back.
Accept da challenges coming,
With a face always blooming.
Chose to fight, and stick to beat.
Success will definitely lick your feet..!!!

हार नहीं होती..

Heyy..dis one is in Hindi..
it's a true source of inspiration for me..i get an inbound strength after going thru it..

लहरों से डर कर नौका पार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की हार नहीं होती।

नन्हीं चींटी जब दाना लेकर चलती हैं,
चढ़ती दीवारों पर सौं बार फिसलती हैं।
मन का विश्वास रगों मैं साहस भरता हैं,
चढ़कर गिरना गिर कर चढ़ना न अखरता हैं,
आखिर उसकी मेहनत बेकार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की हार नहीं होती।

डुबकियाँ सिन्धु में गोताखोर लगाता हैं,
जा जाकर खाली हाथ लौट आता हैं,
मिलते ना सहज ही मोती गहरे पानी में,
बढ़ता दूना उत्साह इसी हैरानी में,
मुट्ठी उसकी खाली हर बार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की हार नहीं होती।

असफलता एक चुनौती है - स्वीकार करो
क्या कमी रह गई देखो और सुधार करो,
जब तक न सफल हो नींद चेन की त्यागो तुम,
संघर्षो का मैदान छोड़ मत भागो तुम,
कुछ किये बीना ही जय जयकार नहीं होती,
कोशिश करने वालों की हार नहीं होती।
