My sleep is what I miss..!!!

Couching on my velvet chair,
Feeling restless,lost elsewhere,
Amidst all snoring hiss,
My sleep is what I miss.

Shaping my castle of dreams,
Building my thoughts on themes,
Yearning to rise in bliss,
My sleep is what I miss.

Draining out the clutter from mind,
Thinking of words to bind,
Ignoring the airy kiss,
My Sleep is what I miss.

Silent night,wandering through the globe,
Wearing the gloomy robe,
Awful is this remiss,
My sleep is what I miss...!!!

beautiful lines dear...

and yeah, what makes us sleepless are the dreams we try to chase in our subconscious mind.

am sure this is for this Sunday's OSI (insomnia)...

done with mine also in haiku form but has not posted it yet...

now, go get some much needed sleep and forget for a while some dreams...:)

Thumbs up for a job well done, my sweet Madhu!

Dear Madhu,
Good Morning!
I enjoyed each line thoroughly.
Let go of the happenings,
All dremas won't come true!
God knows the best for you!,
Pray wholeheartedly and be at peace;
Listen to soft music and read good books;
The sound and goonight's sleep
Will be back to you!
Wishing you a wonderful weekend,

I don't sleep at night so I spend the day dreaming.

Love the repetitive last line ~ like that gnawing pulse that keeps insomnia alive!

Wonderfully written..if only we could drain out the clutter in our minds! That's a great description.

far more fun to read than to experience I'm sure.

sleepless from airy kiss that refuses to be parsed or parceled into a category resonates.
